You will recieve a $500 scholarship to LCU for attending the summer retreat and an additional $500 if you participate in the fall semester mentoring program every year you participate in Vocati. This can add up to $5000 in scholarships!
What is VOCATI?
Vocati is a program of Lubbock Christian University that empowers high school students to delve deeper into their faith through a dynamic summer retreat followed by a personalized mentoring program in the fall semester.

At Vocati, we believe every young person has a unique calling. Vocati helps you explore that calling, discover your own faith, and integrate it into your daily life through a supportive and engaging community.

At the summer retreat, you will build lifelong friendships and develop your faith through spiritually formative practices, thought-provoking classes, and creative exploration.

Unlike other summer camps, Vocati doesn't end just because the week is over. During the fall semester, you will receive guidance and support from mentors and teachers who walk alongside you back home.

Your mentors will help you live more intentionally and faithfully back home. Here, you are in control. You decide how you want to continue growing and we will help you achieve it.

FAQ’s
Who can attend Vocati?
Vocati is for those entering 9th grade in the fall through those entering college.
Where is Vocati located?
The summer retreat is held at the beautiful and fun White River Youth Camp outside of Spur, TX.
How much does it cost?
The registration fee is only $200. This covers all expenses once you arrive at the camp, including an unforgettable week of activities, 14 meals, five nights of lodging at camp, and merch. This fee does not cover transportation to and from the retreat.
What if I can't pay the registration fee?
Our goal is that no one misses out on Vocati for financial reasons. We work hard to raise money so that every student can join. If you need a scholarship, please email us.
How does LCU invest in me through Vocati?
At Vocati, you will learn and reflect with some of LCU's finest professors and college students. The university also awards a $1,000 scholarship to everyone who participates all the way through the semester-long program.
What if I have to drive/fly in the night before the retreat. Where do I stay?
Vocati has a handful of gracious hosts that are willing to house groups coming in the night before. Be sure to let us know if you need housing the night before the retreat.
When does registration open?
Registration for the summer retreat opens March 1 and runs through June 15th.
What if I missed the registration deadline? Can I still apply?
Chances are, yes! We will do our best to make sure every student gets to attend Vocati. Send us an email and we will see what we can do!
I'm a minister. How can I get involved?
If you are a minister, we would love to discuss how you can partner with us. We invite ministers to visit the retreat for a day or the entire week. We also encourage ministers to partner with us throughout the fall semester as we mentor your students.
I'm a parent. How can I get involved?
If you are a parent, we want to invite you to experience Vocati for yourself so that you know exactly the kind of impact we are having on your children. Every spring, we offer a Vocati For Adults Retreat where you can rediscover your spiritual journey, deepen your relationship with God, nurture your well-being, and connect with your inner child.
